Dear Rochelle,
Helene and I would like to thank you and your staff for your services in re-appraising our private art and jewelry collection. All of you performed an excellent job in as unobtrusive a manner as possible. Without your help, we would not have been able to properly insure our collection. You and your staff have been most courteous, very efficient and extremely professional. As you may be aware, I have recommended your company to other friends and business associates with great confidence.
I look forward to continuing to work with you over the years to come.
Sincerely,
Mark Hankin

Dear Rochelle:
Working with you and your organization on my recent appraisals was indeed a pleasure. It is rare a service organization exceeds expectations and because this was so clearly achieved I felt compelled to let you know.
Candidly, I had little awareness of the value of many of the items in our home. I have gained a new appreciation for many items that were not in my site as being worthy of appraisal. I now take the time to appreciate the Oriental carpets, chandeliers and fixtures, paints and sculpture that previously were environmentally pleasing but not appreciated for their true worth. On all items, I found the descriptions not only worthy for insurance purposes but in many cases, personally illuminating. Your report met my needs and beyond.
I will certainly recommend Art Directives to the many I know who may be in need of such services. Thank you for a job well done.
Truly yours,
Dennis J. Tessler

Dear Ms. Eisenberg:
My wife and I want to express to you and the members of your staff our deep appreciation for the thoroughly professional manner in which you undertook and completed this assignment. We appreciated both the helpful and supportive manner in which you assisted us in the course of the appraisal process as well as the diligence, thoroughness and expertise with which you addressed each individual object.
Perhaps needless to add, the careful and detailed descriptions of each of these objects in your comprehensive reports are also greatly appreciated. It has been a pleasure to work with you and your staff in learning more about the art objects and furnishings in our home.

Dear Rochelle,
It has been a year since you were with us at Sugar Hill, helping us prepare for the auctioning of all the contents of the New Hampshire summer home of our family since 1917. Judith and I have been looking at the photos, album notes, records, etc., from that time and remembering the enormous helpfulness you and Robin Friedman brought into our lives, both professionally, in analyzing and evaluating furniture, paintings, porcelains, family-history treasure for auction and sale, your arranging so splendidly for the sale of that major painting and of the piano we treasured. Yet we are remembering too the personal pleasure, the sense of colleagueship you and Robin brought to use—she is indeed in your spirit and style, with you as an ace teacher, of her, and of us.
You have been a such a fine educator for us, making our learning so enjoyable and helpful and coherent. Before the Sugar Hill enterprise, our work with you in our Philadelphia home was crucial—also enjoyable and productive—in the
appraisal of fine arts, antiques, oriental rugs, a whole houseful of our personal history over the years. You gave us both such a secure feeling from your work with us, your analysis and reports, your photographing and portrayals and recordings and evaluations.
So this is a fan letter, not the first and not the last!
Sincerely,
David Mallery

Dear Rochelle:
On behalf of the Mercersburg Academy, I want to thank you and your staff for the excellent job Art Directives did for the school in relation to the inventory and appraisal project you completed for us this fall. The report was extremely thorough with very detailed descriptions and the digital photography of each item provides the school with an invaluable resource both internally for inventory and identification and externally for insurance and risk management purposes. The fact that the school had over 1,000 objects from valuable fine arts to period antiques stored in twelve buildings made the task very difficult but your staff rose to the challenge and did an absolutely magnificent job.
Please know that the school really appreciates the efforts you made on the school’s behalf and the professional end product was much above our expectations. I would highly recommend your services to any other institution of business that needs such services.
We will continue to stay in touch.
Sincerely,
Gail H. Wolfe, II
